Job summary

Hyatt Vacation Ownership in Hawaii is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to respond to guest repair requests, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across resort facilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4–6 years hands-on experience operating large swimming pools and water features.
• CPO certification required.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests and communicate solutions with minimal supervision.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment; clean and lubricate as needed.
• Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems; operate all shut-off valves.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints related to MEP systems.
• Train and mentor junior staff; perform Engineer on Duty responsibilities as required.
• Maintain inventory and requisition parts and supplies; adhere to safety and company standards.
