Job summary

Tighe & Bond is seeking a Water Engineering Intern to join the Water Business Line in our Westfield, MA office. You’ll help plan, design, and administer the construction of water and wastewater systems, with a focus on resilience and sustainability in the Northeast.

You will work with experienced professionals on data collection, analysis, and documentation, performing engineering calculations and supporting field and design tasks, while enjoying a structured internship program and a hybrid work

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s program pursuing a degree in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering
• Previous internship experience in engineering, design, or consulting is preferred
• Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and problem-solving ability
• Flexibility, positive attitude, and open-mindedness are valued

Responsibilities

• Support project teams with data collection, analysis, and documentation for water, wastewater, and stormwater projects
• Perform engineering calculations to support projects
• Assist staff on design, study, and construction tasks and field assignments
• Participate in Tighe & Bond’s annual Intern Day activities
