Job summary

Tighe & Bond invites a Water Engineering Intern to contribute to the Water Business Line in Shelton, CT, aiding in data collection, analysis, and documentation for essential water infrastructure projects.

You will perform engineering calculations and assist on design, study, and construction tasks, gaining hands-on experience with design software and office tools in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s program pursuing a degree in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering
• Previous and relevant internship experience
• Intellectual curiosity and a desire to solve engineering problems
• Flexibility, a positive attitude, and open-mindedness

Responsibilities

• Support project teams with data collection, analysis, and documentation for water, wastewater and stormwater projects
• Perform engineering calculations to support projects
• Assist staff on various tasks with design, study and construction projects and/or field assignments
• Participate in Tighe & Bond’s annual Intern Day activities
