Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an entry-level Water Engineer to join our Water Team in Raleigh or Charlotte, NC. You will work on national and international projects, applying standard engineering techniques and preparing reports under supervision.

Qualifications

• EXPERIENCE: 0-2 years of professional experience in a related technical field.
• EDUCATION: Completion of bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent degree from an ABET accredited college/university.
• SPECIAL SKILLS: PC skills required. Knowledge and experience in the listed software is desired but not required.
• PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATIONS: E.I. or EIT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply standard engineering techniques and criteria in diversified tasks.
• Prepare assigned sections of reports under close review.
• Perform data acquisition and analysis and research design approaches.
• Prepare material for reports and permit applications and graphic presentations.
• Perform engineering calculations.
• Conduct field observations of construction.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent from an ABET accredited college/university
