Job summary

Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP is seeking an entry-level Hydraulics/Water Resource Engineer in Raleigh, NC. You will contribute to hydrologic analysis, hydraulic design and stormwater management for federal, state and local transportation projects.

The role requires a civil engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program and 0–4 years of experience. EIT is a plus; sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• 0-4 years of relevant experience.
• EIT certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop hydrologic analysis, hydraulic design and stormwater management compliance.
• Support construction contract plans and documents for DOT and municipal transportation projects.
• Collaborate on multi-disciplinary teams to deliver project capabilities.
