Job summary

Arcadis in the New Lexington, OH office is seeking a Water Engineer Co-Op/Intern for Summer 2027. You will gain hands-on experience in water, wastewater, and stormwater projects, including design, planning, and field activities. You’ll work with a team across the U.S.

and internationally, using tools like BIM, Power BI, and SharePoint while supporting asset management and sustainability initiatives. Pursuing a BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering is required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS in Civil, Environmental, or another closely related academic discipline.
• Prior internship or coursework in water/wastewater, water resources, or related sectors.
• EIT certification or desire to obtain

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience in water, wastewater, and stormwater project design and support.
• Evaluate, plan, design, and manage water-related projects and utilities.
• Assist with field work including site visits, sampling, and water quality analyses.
• Support Asset Management projects with data analytics and condition assessments.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and client meeting materials; ensure quality and safety standards.
• Collaborate with teams across the U.S. and internationally; use BIM, Power BI, and SharePoint.
