Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Water Engineer Co-Op/Intern to join the Water Business Line at the New Lexington, OH office for Summer 2027. You will gain hands-on experience in water, wastewater, and stormwater projects, with fieldwork opportunities and data analytics support for asset management.

The role focuses on evaluating, planning, design, and support of projects, while enhancing sustainability and resilience for utilities and municipalities. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS in Civil, Environmental, or related field.
• Preferred internship or coursework in water/wastewater.
• EIT certification or desire to obtain.
• Local candidates preferred.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design of water, wastewater, and stormwater projects.
• Support preparation of reports, presentations, and client meetings.
• Ensure project compliance with Arcadis practices and safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members across the U.S. and internationally.
• Learn and use digital tools like SharePoint, BIM, Power BI, and Augmented Reality.
• Fieldwork including site visits, sampling, water quality analyses, and system optimization.
