Job summary

Arcadis, New Lexington, OH, seeks a Water Engineer Co-Op/Intern for Summer 2027 to support water, wastewater, and stormwater projects from planning to design through asset management. This role offers hands-on experience in evaluation, design support, and client-facing tasks.

You will gain exposure to field visits, data analytics, and digital tools (BIM, Power BI) while collaborating with teams across the U.S. and internationally. Strong organizational and communication skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS in Civil or Environmental discipline.
• Prior internship or coursework in water/wastewater or related sectors.
• EIT certification or desire to obtain.
• Local candidates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience in evaluating, planning, designing, and managing water, wastewater, and stormwater projects.
• Perform field work including site visits, sampling, water quality analyses, and system optimization.
• Support Asset Management via data analytics and condition assessments.
• Prepare reports and participate in client meetings; ensure safety and quality standards.
