Job summary

Municipal District Services, LLC is seeking a Water District Inspector to ensure regulatory compliance across multiple inspections, including grease traps, sewer lines, and utility integrity. You will report to the Builder Services Supervisor and prepare enforcement notices as needed.

The role requires strong communication, ability to work with various stakeholders, and availability for overtime and weekend inspections. A valid Texas driver’s license is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid Class C driver's license with acceptable MVR.
• Clear and effective communication, both written and oral.
• Ability to obtain required licenses within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Inspect grease traps and interceptors for compliance with laws.
• Determine user compliance through inspections.
• Certify integrity of district utilities prior to construction.
• Perform sewer line/connection inspections from structure to main.
• Maintain equipment and perform routine vehicle maintenance.
• Collaborate with customers and city/county departments as needed.
• Be available for overtime and weekend inspections.
