Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Six months of general maintenance experience required.
• Valid Texas driver license.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot water utility operations and maintenance.
• Perform maintenance for the operation of the water distribution system.
• Isolate water lines by operating valves and reviewing GEOLINKS to determine valve locations.
• Operate valves and flush hydrants to address water quality issues.
• Renew utility services and coordinate work with other technicians by phone, text, or email.
• Prepare and maintain reports, forms, and records for operational assignments.
• Utilize a data tracking system to assist with service calls and water maintenance repairs.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
