Job summary

Las Vegas Valley Water District is hiring Distribution System Service Person I (Flex). The role starts at $31.45 per hour with 4/10 shifts and a path to level II at $38.22 after 6–12 months, based on performance. Outdoor work, CDL and operator certification are favorable.

Location is Valley View Campus in Las Vegas; openness to flexible scheduling including evenings and grave shifts is required. Ideal candidates have trades experience and a safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of construction trades and safe working practices.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot in the field.
• Willingness to learn and adapt; motivated self-starter.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain the District's distribution mains and service lines.
• Diagnose faults and troubleshoot issues in the field; operate related equipment.
• Perform duties as assigned to support water distribution operations.
• Follow safety procedures and contribute to team effectiveness.
