Qualifications

• Associate degree in Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, Business Management, or related field preferred.
• Requires ten years of experience in public utility, planning, operations and/or service.
• Requires five years of supervisory experience.
• Licenses/certifications as listed: Water Distribution Operator, Wastewater Collections Certification, Class A CDL.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises division staff and operations.
• Oversees division budget development and expenditures.
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
• Communicates with engineers, developers, contractors and the public.
• Oversees safety programs and staff training.
• Inspects construction and maintenance work for adherence to codes and standards.
