Pueblo West Metropolitan District is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Treatment Plant and distribution systems in Pueblo West, CO. Under supervision, you will assist in operation, maintenance, and repair of water collection and distribution systems, including hydrants, valves, and meters.

Responsibilities include performing tests, installing and repairing components, reading meters, and following SOPs while maintaining safety standards and working in a controlled environment.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have and maintain a valid Colorado Class “R” driver’s license.
• Preferred: Colorado Class “A” CDL with an “N” or “X” endorsement, or ability to obtain within 90 days.

• Locates collection and distribution lines.
• Performs repair/replacement of damaged water mains or waterlines.
• Performs repair/replacement of damaged water and wastewater infrastructure per SOPs.
• Operates department equipment (skid steer, loader, backhoe, vac truck).
• Complies with all policies, rules, and laws; emphasizes health and safety.
• Maintains good relations with staff and customers.
