Job summary

HDR is seeking a senior Data Steward to shape how water data is defined, shared, and used across projects. You will establish a network of experts, define clear data definitions, and promote consistent data practices that support reporting, automation, and AI use cases.

This embedded, enablement-focused role partners with leadership to align data workflows to strategy, drive adoption of standards, and ensure data integrity across the Water Business Group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10 years in the Water engineering industry.
• Experience in leading diverse teams and change management.

Responsibilities

• Define and coordinate data standards across the Water BG.
• Develop business-aligned data definitions for engineering terms.
• Promote data quality, access, and reuse across systems and teams.
• Lead governance of externally sourced datasets and data lifecycle.
