Job summary

BELFOR is seeking a field technician in Hawaii to provide operational support for water damage mitigation. The role involves pumping and extracting water, mold remediation, and handling a range of restoration equipment under supervision.

Candidates must follow safety protocols, maintain vehicles, and assist with containment and drying system setup. Some travel and irregular hours may be required as part of the position.

Qualifications

• Experience with water pumping/extraction and mold remediation.
• Knowledge of pump systems and restoration equipment.
• Ability to inspect and maintain vehicles and safety gear.

Responsibilities

• Follow team leader instructions and work under supervision.
• Understand MSDS protocols for chemicals used in mitigation.
• Inspect vehicle safety and maintenance daily; keep vehicles clean.
• Operate and manage water extraction and drying equipment under supervision.
• Construct containment systems using appropriate materials and equipment.
• Use cleaning and disinfecting solutions appropriately; remove debris safely.
• Install and label vapor barriers and drying systems as instructed.
• Travel and work variable hours, including nights/weekends when required.
