Job summary

BELFOR Property Restoration in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a field technician to provide operational support in water damage mitigation. You will pump and extract water, perform mold remediation, and set up drying equipment under supervision while using a range of equipment and following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Identify consumables, usage and disposal requirements with training.
• Knowledge of various pump systems.
• Eligible to operate a motor vehicle per BELFOR policy.
• Sense of urgency, professional demeanor and strong work ethic.
• English language literacy and fluency.

Responsibilities

• Receive instructions from the team leader.
• Know and understand MSDS protocols for chemical products.
• Perform daily vehicle safety inspections and keep vehicles clean.
• Attention to details in all tasks.
• Demonstrate mastery of the BELFOR damage process documents.
• Under supervision, operate extraction equipment and related systems.
• Build containment using Neg Air and HEPA equipment.
• Use cleaning/disinfecting solutions and debris removal methods in confined spaces.
• Apply proper lifting techniques and protect client belongings.
• Install Injectidry, Directed-In and Octi-Dry systems and manage air flow holes.
• Comply with BELFOR standards to safeguard property.
• Travel and work nights/weekends as required.
• Attend safety training and other BELFOR operations.
