Job summary

BELFOR Franchise Group is seeking a field technician to support water damage mitigation and mold remediation efforts. The role involves operating specialized equipment, maintaining safety, and following MSDS protocols in a team environment.

Travel and night/weekend work may be required. Excellent attention to safety, equipment handling, and customer service are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Must be able to identify consumables, usage and disposal with training.
• Must have knowledge of various pump systems.
• Eligible to operate a motor vehicle per BELFOR policy.
• Sense of urgency, professional demeanor, and strong work ethic.
• English literacy and fluency.

Responsibilities

• Receive instructions from the team leader.
• Follow MSDS protocols for products used.
• Inspect and maintain vehicle safety, cleanliness and readiness.
• Operate and handle BELFOR water damage equipment under supervision.
• Build containment systems with appropriate equipment.
• Use cleaning and disinfecting solutions correctly.
• Protect client belongings and maintain safe lifting techniques.
• Document time worked and equipment used accurately.
• Attend required training and security courses.
