Job summary

1-800 Water Damage in Dayton, OH is seeking Restoration Technicians to perform water extraction, drying, mold remediation, and related reconstruction tasks. Candidates should demonstrate strong organizational, problem-solving, and exemplary customer service skills to support on-site production services.

Responsibilities include working with equipment such as water extraction tools, drying systems, and fire cleanup processes, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• IICRC WRT certification or equivalent experience is required.
• Perform regular restoration duties and respond to service calls as needed.
• Operate water, mold and fire cleaning equipment efficiently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• On-site water extraction, the drying process, fire cleaning/deodorization, mold remediation and related reconstruction tasks.
• Ensure safe, timely completion of daily restoration tasks.
• Complete paperwork and/or real-time input of drying conditions in systems such as MICA and RMS.
• Operate equipment with minimal supervision and maintain clean, organized work sites.

Restoration Technicians are expected to demonstrate a clear understanding of on-site production services, including, but not limited to: water extraction, the drying process, fire cleaning / deodorization, mold remediation and related reconstruction tasks. He/she must demonstrate organizational and problem-solving skills and exemplary customer service skills. While a restoration technicians’ primary role and expertise will be in water damage restoration, the cheerful participation in other related tasks such as fire damage restoration and small reconstruction services is expected.

Required Resources:

• Must be able to pass a background check and be free of violent crime convictions or theft-related felonies within the past 10 years.

Trained to Excel in:

• Securing signed work authorization & other relevant forms
• Moisture investigation/ Mapping/ Basic Scope Development
• Safe and timely completion of daily restoration related tasks.
• Completion of paperwork and/or real time input of drying conditions in system such as MICA and RMS
• Ability to operate efficiently with minimum supervision
