Job summary

ServiceMaster Clean of Fraser Valley is seeking a Restoration Technician to perform water, fire, mold, and storm damage cleanup for residential and commercial properties. You will work as part of a team to mitigate damage, restore property, and maintain safety and cleanliness for clients.

The role emphasizes physical stamina, on-call availability, and the ability to lift 50+ pounds, with a focus on providing professional customer service during stressful situations and documenting field results.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous restoration, construction, or cleaning experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work.
• Willingness to work on-call, nights, weekends, and emergency response situations.
• Valid driver?s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform water extraction, structural drying, and moisture monitoring.
• Assist with fire, smoke, and soot cleanup and deodorization.
• Demolition and removal of damaged materials such as drywall, flooring, and insulation.
• Set up and monitor drying equipment including air movers and dehumidifiers.
• Conduct mold remediation according to company and industry standards.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE.
• Maintain accurate job documentation including photos, moisture readings, and work logs.
• Communicate progress with team members and supervisors.

The Restoration Technician is responsible for performing restoration and cleanup services for residential and commercial properties affected by water, fire, mold, storm damage, and other disasters. Technicians work as part of a team to mitigate damage, restore property, and ensure a safe and clean environment for customers.

Key Responsibilities
