Job summary

iicrc-careers is seeking a Water Restoration Technician to monitor and perform restoration tasks, prepare documentation, and explain processes to customers to facilitate insurance reimbursement. This role involves on-site work and adhering to company procedures for quality and safety.

Responsibilities include loading equipment, performing water damage repair, and coordinating with supervisors to resolve issues and finalize jobs with customer signatures.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Experience in restoration or construction preferred.
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Experience with mobile data entry.
• Ability to read and follow product label usage instructions.
• Reliable, punctual and able to wear a clean uniform.
• Willing to participate in an on-call rotation.
• Certifications preferred: WRT (Water Damage Restoration Technician), ASD (Applied Structural Drying Technician).

Responsibilities

• Retrieves work orders, checks route for travel, and ensures equipment and supplies are loaded.
• Explains processes used to complete active jobs and next steps to customers.
• Completes assigned jobs per company procedures with quality control.
• Performs water damage repair including extraction, contents pack-out, demolition as directed.
• Ensures equipment and vehicles are properly handled and reports malfunctions.
• Inspects jobs after completion and collects customer signatures for approval.
• Monitors drying progress and adjusts the plan based on meter readings.
• Resolves customer issues and communicates with supervisor and staff.
• Prepares documentation and photos to support insurance reimbursement.
