Job summary

1-800 WATER DAMAGE is seeking restoration technicians to help homeowners and businesses recover from water damage. You will remove damaged materials, move contents carefully, and operate drying equipment in various metro Detroit homes and businesses.

This role involves after-hours and weekend shifts, background checks, and a commitment to safety and teamwork. Prior IICRC certification is a plus, and training is provided in a fast-growing family environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Some college a plus).
• Reliable transportation and good driving record.
• Available to work after hours and weekends as needed in a rotation.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
• IICRC Water Restoration certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Carefully move customer contents (furniture and belongings).
• Tear out and remove non-salvageable materials such as carpeting, padding, drywall, etc.
• Carry in/out drying equipment.
• Perform mold remediation as needed.
• Work with smoke and fire damaged buildings.
