Job summary

ServiceMaster DSI in Peoria, AZ is seeking a Water Restoration Technician to monitor, inspect and complete restoration tasks, from drying to demolition, while ensuring documentation for insurance reimbursement. You will explain processes to customers, review notes, photos and reports, and support ongoing active jobs on site.

The role requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and strong customer service and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer service oriented with a professional demeanor.
• Experience reading product labels and following instructions.
• Experience with mobile software to enter data is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve work orders and ensure required equipment and supplies are loaded.
• Explain processes to customers and outline next steps in person.
• Complete jobs per company procedures while maintaining quality control.
• Perform water damage repair including extraction, packing, and light demolition.
• Ensure equipment and vehicles are properly handled and report malfunctions.
• Inspect completed jobs, obtain customer signatures, and assist with payments as needed.
• Monitor drying plans daily and adjust based on meter readings.
• Document and photograph work to support insurance reimbursements.
