Job summary

IICRC is seeking a Water Restoration Technician to monitor, inspect, and complete water damage restoration tasks. You will prepare documentation, explain processes to customers, and ensure proper drying and remediation steps are followed according to company policies.

Responsibilities include loading equipment, performing water extraction, completing job notes and photos for insurance reimbursement, and maintaining quality control on each site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred certifications in water damage restoration (WTR/ASD).
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to read and follow product label usage instructions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve work orders and ensure proper equipment and supplies are loaded for each job.
• Explain restoration steps and next steps to customers, using printed materials as a guide.
• Complete jobs per company processes with quality control.
• Perform water extraction, pack-out of contents and light demolition as directed.
• Inspect completed jobs, obtain customer signatures, and coordinate payments as needed.
• Monitor drying progress, adjust the plan based on meter readings.
• Resolve customer issues and report progress to supervisor.
