Job summary

Roto-Rooter Plumbing and Water Cleanup in Ozark, MO seeks a Water Mitigation Sales Estimator to meet with customers, assess damage, prepare restoration estimates, and guide projects from inspection to completion.

The role blends estimating, project coordination, and customer service, with opportunities to build lasting relationships with homeowners, insurers, and contractors while growing professional expertise in water damage restoration.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in estimating, outside sales, project management, restoration, construction, or another customer-facing role.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to explain project scopes, pricing, and timelines with confidence and professionalism.
• Strong computer skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivation with the ability to work independently.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Respond to residential and commercial water damage opportunities.
• Perform on-site inspections to evaluate the extent of water damage.
• Prepare accurate estimates for mitigation and restoration services.
• Explain recommended services, project timelines, and restoration options to customers.
• Build strong relationships with homeowners, business owners, insurance adjusters, and property managers.
• Coordinate project scheduling and communication with office staff and restoration technicians.
• Visit active job sites to monitor progress and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain detailed project documentation, photographs, estimates, and customer records.
• Follow up on estimates and help convert opportunities into completed projects.
• Deliver outstanding customer service throughout every phase of the restoration process.
• Help develop referral relationships with insurance professionals, contractors, plumbers, and other community partners.
