Job summary

PacWest Restoration Inc. is seeking an experienced Water Mitigation & Repairs Estimator to inspect properties after damage, prepare accurate estimates, and guide projects from inspection through reconstruction.

You will work with insurance adjusters, owners, and crews to ensure estimates align with field conditions. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of estimating experience in restoration, proficiency in Xactimate, and IICRC certification.

Qualifications

2+ years of estimating experience in restoration, reconstruction, or insurance restoration.
Proficiency in Xactimate is required.
Knowledge of water mitigation, structural drying, reconstruction, and insurance claims processes.
IICRC certification (WRT, ASD, or similar) is required; familiarity with moisture mapping and mitigation documentation.

Responsibilities

Inspect properties to assess water, mold, fire, and storm damage to determine mitigation and repair scope.
Prepare detailed, accurate mitigation and reconstruction estimates using Xactimate.
Submit documentation, photos, and estimates promptly and accurately.
Communicate and negotiate estimates with insurance adjusters, property owners, and project managers.
Coordinate with mitigation and reconstruction crews to align estimates with field conditions.
Document job sites with photos, moisture readings, and scope of loss reports.
Track project budgets and assist in negotiating estimates with insurance carriers.
Maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and timely follow-up.
Ensure compliance with IICRC standards, company procedures, and safety regulations.
