Job summary

BELFOR Holdings Inc. is seeking an operations support specialist to assist in water damage mitigation, including pumping, extraction and mold removal with supervision and BELFOR equipment. This role is Level 2 in the Water Damage progression and requires strict adherence to safety and MSDS protocols.

You will follow team leader instructions, handle safety checks, and may travel nights or weekends as needed, contributing to rapid, quality restoration for clients.

Qualifications

• Water pumping and extraction expertise.
• Mold remediation knowledge.
• Able to move & reset contents.
• Operate drying equipment.
• English literacy.

Responsibilities

• Receive instructions from team leader.
• Follow MSDS protocols for chemicals used during mitigation.
• Perform daily vehicle safety and maintenance inspections.
• Demonstrate mastery of BELFOR documentation and processes.
• Under supervision, use pumps, extractors, and drying equipment.
• Build containment systems with Neg Air/HEPA equipment.
• Use cleaning and disinfecting solutions appropriately.
• Handle lifting, moving, and protection of client belongings.
• Install Injectidry/Directed-In/Octi-Dry systems as needed.
• Comply with BELFOR standards to safeguard client property.
• Maintain customer service standards and respond to time constraints.
• Occasionally travel and work nights/weekends.
• Attend safety trainings sponsored by BELFOR.
