Job summary

BELFOR is seeking a Water Damage Technician in San Diego. The role involves providing operational support for mitigation, including pumping, extraction, mold remediation, and setting up drying equipment under supervision.

You will learn and apply BELFOR procedures and safety standards while protecting client property. Candidates should have strong customer service skills, the ability to work nights and weekends, and be able to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in water damage mitigation and related equipment.
• Ability to follow MSDS protocols and safety standards.
• Comfort with loading, unloading, and repositioning materials.
• Strong customer-service knowledge and professional demeanor.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and travel as needed.
• English literacy and clear communication required.

Responsibilities

• Receive instructions from team leader and follow directions.
• Inspect vehicle safety and maintain cleanliness and readiness.
• Operate and manage water extraction and drying equipment under supervision.
• Set up containment systems and ensure proper discharge procedures.
• Use lifting techniques and protect client belongings during tasks.
• Install high- and low-tech drying systems as required.
• Comply with BELFOR standards to protect clients' property.
