Job summary

BELFOR is seeking an entry-level Water Damage Technician to provide operational support in mitigation efforts. You will pump and extract water, perform mold remediation, move and reset contents, and set drying equipment under supervision.

This role begins the Water Damage progression and offers training through BELFOR. Expect to work with specialized equipment, comply with safety standards, and occasionally travel, including night shifts and weekends.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to identify consumables, usage and disposal requirements with training.
  • Must have knowledge of various pump systems.
  • Eligible to operate a motor vehicle per BELFOR's vehicle policy.
  • Possess sense of urgency, professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong work ethic.
  • English language literacy and fluency.

Responsibilities

  • Receive instructions from the team leader.
  • Perform daily inspections of vehicle safety and maintenance and keep vehicles clean.
  • Maintain attention to detail in all tasks.
  • Follow BELFOR standards to safeguard client property.
  • Demonstrate strong customer service principles.
  • Work with time constraints to meet deadlines.
  • Travel and work at night and on weekends as required.
  • Accurately report time worked and equipment/consumables used.
  • Attend BELFOR operations and required training courses.
