Job summary

BELFOR is seeking a Water Damage Technician in Hawaii to support mitigation efforts, operate water extraction and drying equipment, and assist with mold remediation under supervision.

The role requires familiarity with containment setup, safety procedures, and proper handling of cleaning and antimicrobial applications. Travel, night/weekend work, and accurate time/usage reporting are expected as part of the position.

Qualifications

• Must be able to identify consumables, usage and disposal requirements with training.
• Must have knowledge of various pump systems.
• Eligible to operate a motor vehicle per BELFOR's vehicle policy.
• Sense of urgency, professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong work ethic.
• English language literacy and fluency.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support in mitigation efforts, pumping and extracting water, and mold removal under supervision.
• Build containment systems using appropriate calculations and equipment.
• Operate and maintain extraction and drying equipment; ensure proper safety protocols.
• Travel and work nights/weekends as required; report time and usage accurately.
• Attend BELFOR operations and required security/training courses.
