Job summary

PacWest Restoration Inc is seeking an experienced Water Mitigation & Repairs Estimator to inspect properties after water, fire, mold or storm damage and prepare accurate estimates to guide projects from initial assessment through reconstruction.

You will use Xactimate, coordinate with insurance adjusters, property owners and crews, document moisture readings, and ensure compliance with IICRC standards while delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years estimating in restoration/insurance.
• Proficient in Xactimate and restoration estimation.
• IICRC WRT/ASD certification required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Inspect properties to assess damage and determine scope of mitigation and repair.
• Prepare detailed estimates for mitigation and reconstruction using Xactimate.
• Submit documentation, photos, and estimates promptly and accurately.
• Negotiate estimates with insurance adjusters, owners, and project managers.
• Coordinate with crews to align estimates with field conditions.
• Document job sites with photos and moisture readings.
• Track budgets and assist with supplements with insurers.
• Maintain client relationships through clear communication and timely follow-up.
• Ensure compliance with IICRC standards and safety regulations.
