Job summary

Stantec's Plano, Texas office is seeking an experienced Water/Wastewater Conveyance Engineer to serve as technical lead on local and regional projects in North Texas. The role involves designing large-diameter pipes, leading teams, and delivering client-focused solutions with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Process, Chemical, or Civil/Environmental Engineering.
• Master's degree in Civil/Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering preferred.
• 5–10 years of experience in water/wastewater conveyance design and construction.
• Texas PE license within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Engineer of Record for civil/conveyance infrastructure projects with responsibility for reviewing and sealing of projects.
• Provide engineering support for projects in Dallas and throughout the region, performing a variety of tasks to plan, execute and deliver the completed project.
• Conduct alternative analyses to support business case evaluations for project decisions.
• Apply industry and client standards and requirements.
• Lead project coordination meetings with internal teams and external consultants, owner and contractor.
