Job summary

Commonwealth Engineers, Inc. is seeking an experienced Regulatory Compliance Project Manager to join our Indianapolis North office. The candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to work in a performance- and deadline-driven team environment.

The role focuses on overseeing Clean Water Act regulatory compliance, coordinating permitting requirements, and supporting municipal and public water system compliance initiatives. Training will be provided for specific duties.

Qualifications

• Masters in Environmental Science and/or Public Policy required.
• 10+ years of work experience in a water resource-related field.
• 3+ years of experience with Local, State, or Federal Environmental/Regulatory Agencies preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight for Clean Water Act regulatory compliance activities across the company.
• Coordinate and present permitting and regulatory requirements internally and with clients; prepare reports and graphics.
• Assist with MS4 General Permit compliance oversight and related activities.
• Support NPDES permit compliance including renewals and inspections.
