Peraton is seeking a Watch Analyst for its Federal Strategic Cyber group, located on-site in Washington, DC. You will monitor sensitive sources, perform triage, and produce actionable reports for government leadership, coordinating with stakeholders across law enforcement and federal agencies.

This role requires TS clearance and strict confidentiality. The position operates in a 24x7 watch center with rotating shifts.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience; additional 4 years may substitute for degree.
• Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Broad capabilities in research, analysis, and report writing.
• Flexible to operate in a 24x7 operational environment.
• Experience with open-source analysis and alerting systems.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office automation.
• Experience in critical infrastructure sectors and emergency management.

Aufgaben

• Monitor classified databases, ticketing system, alerts, and open sources for threats to critical infrastructure.
• Provide initial triage and analysis to assess impact and reporting requirements.
• Prepare accurate, timely reports for government leadership and stakeholders.
• Operate within a small team to coordinate incidents through resolution.
• Maintain security protocols and handle sensitive information meticulously.
• Understand IT/communications hardware and software and coordinate with help desk as needed.
• Shift assignments may rotate to meet team needs in a 24x7 watch center.
