The role involves installing, inspecting, maintaining, and operating the wastewater collection system to ensure safe, reliable service and environmental protection. Under supervision, you will work with heavy equipment, respond to emergencies, and participate in the on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Licenses may be required or obtained within the first year of employment.
• Employees encouraged to obtain certifications supporting Public Works operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain wastewater mains, service lines, manholes, lift stations, and related infrastructure.
• Operate and transport construction equipment and wastewater equipment.
• Respond to emergency service requests and after-hours incidents.
• Read maps and documents to locate infrastructure and complete work.
• Document work orders and asset information.
