Job summary

Pasco County Utilities is seeking a Utility Worker III - Wastewater to install, maintain, and repair the county's wastewater collection and transmission systems. The role requires on-call duty on a routine basis and involves operating heavy equipment and lifting up to 80 pounds.

You will perform inspections, document work orders, GPS assets, and coordinate with public and contractors. Minimum education and license: High School diploma and Florida Class B CDL with tanker endorsement; 18 months

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 18 months direct water/wastewater field maintenance experience preferred.
• Florida Class B CDL with tanker endorsement required.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair wastewater collection and transmission lines, lift stations, and plant facilities.
• Respond to service requests and emergency callouts to minimize interruptions.
• Record and update work orders; GPS wastewater assets and record keeping.
• Inspect and document conditions; coordinate repairs with contractors and public.
