Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or equivalent and two years of utility construction/maintenance experience.
• Valid Florida Commercial Class B drivers license with tanker endorsement.
• FWPCOA (C) Wastewater Collection Technician Certification and required safety certifications (MOT, Confined Space, Trenching & Shoring, FEMA ICS).
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs and work outdoors in heat, cold, and humidity.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair wastewater collection lines, force mains, lift stations, and plant facilities.
• Respond to service requests and emergency callouts to minimize outages.
• Complete daily work orders and document findings using asset management software.
• On-call duties on a rotating basis; interact with contractors and vendors professionally.
