This O&T role maintains water and wastewater treatment equipment to purify water and meet permit requirements, monitors gauges, collects samples, and records data while following EPA regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED; strong writing and oral communication.
• Associate's degree in science/technical preferred.
• 2–5 years in a related water/wastewater role preferred; knowledge of treatment methods.

Responsibilities

• Monitor operating conditions, meters and gauges.
• Collect and test water and sewage samples.
• Record readings and operational data.
• Operate equipment to purify water or process/dispose of waste.
• Maintain equipment and follow EPA regulations and safety standards.
