Job summary

Chobani in Twin Falls, Idaho is seeking a Water Resource Recovery Facility Technician to monitor waste treatment processes, perform lab analyses, interpret data and adjust operations as needed. The role involves indoor and outdoor work around machinery and may expose you to noise, odors and hazards.

You will monitor meters and RO water, collect samples, operate HMIs, perform preventive maintenance, and handle chemical totes.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in Wastewater or Process/Utilities operations preferred.
• 1-2 years’ laboratory analysis experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability.
• Computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook).
• HMI Experience.
• Demonstrate good communications skills, decision‑making abilities, and interpersonal skills.
• Forklift certified or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, record, and interpret meter readings.
• Monitor and analyze RO water.
• Ability to understand verbal and/or written instructions.
• Perform required lab analysis, interpret, and record accurately.
• Ability to collect samples.
• Monitor HMI system and make necessary adjustments.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
• Monitor and adjust the DAF’s and centrifuge and make repairs as needed.
• Inventory of all chemicals and record accurately.
• Perform necessary calculations accurately.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance as assigned.
• Safely change out chemical totes and refill bulk chemical tanks.
• Complete other tasks as needed.
• Follow Chobani safety practices and GMPs.
