Job summary

Chobani is hiring a Wastewater Technician for the D shift (6:00pm–6:30am, every other weekend). The technician monitors wastewater processes, conducts lab analyses, interprets data, and adjusts operations as needed, indoors and outdoors, with potential exposure to hazards.

Strong safety practices and GMP adherence are required. The role supports water treatment operations, requires a Class 1 license or ability to obtain within a year, and offers benefits, tuition/wellness reimbursements, and

Qualifications

• Wastewater Treatment Class 1 license or ability to obtain within 1 year.
• 2-4 years of experience in Wastewater or Process/Utilities operations preferred.
• 1-2 years’ laboratory analysis experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability.
• HMI Experience
• Demonstrate good communications skills, decision-making abilities, and interpersonal skills.
• Forklift certified or ability to obtain

Responsibilities

• Monitor, record, and interpret meter readings.
• Monitor and analyze RO water.
• Perform required lab analysis, interpret, and record accurately.
• Ability to collect samples.
• Monitor HMI system and make necessary adjustments.
• Work weekends and holidays as required.
• Monitor and adjust the DAF’s and centrifuge and make repairs as needed.
• Inventory of all chemicals and record accurately.
• Perform necessary calculations accurately.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance as assigned.
• Safely change out chemical totes and refill bulk chemical tanks.
• Complete other tasks as needed.
• Follow Chobani safety practices and GMPs.
