Job summary

TTM Technologies, Inc. in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Wastewater Treatment Operator on the First shift to monitor and operate wastewater systems, perform sampling and data entry, and ensure safe chemical handling and disposal.

The role requires adherence to EHS protocols, PPE usage, and continuous training in hazardous materials and forklift operation. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of wastewater treatment experience, a high school diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred), and the

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree is preferred.
1-2 years of wastewater treatment experience is preferred.
Experience in aerospace industry or AS9102 is a plus.

Responsibilities

Operate the wastewater treatment system with manual flow valve adjustments and pumps.
Monitor samples, report batch treatment readings, and enter data into electronic systems.
Transfer and dispose chemicals following proper procedures and dispose of contaminated materials.
Respond immediately to chemical spills and maintain PPE and safety compliance.
Complete site audits and verify proper chemical storage; participate in ongoing training.
Move chemicals within the site using hand trucks and forklifts; maintain a clean, safe work area.
