You will collect and report readings, manage chemical handling, and assist with training on hazardous materials and PPE. The role emphasizes adherence to EHS policies, incident response, and continuous improvement of safety practices within a manufacturing environment.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent; associates degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of wastewater treatment experience preferred.
• Must complete 12-module hazardous material training and forklift certification.
• English reading/writing sufficient for job performance.

Responsabilidades

• Operate wastewater treatment system with manual valve adjustments.
• Monitor samples, document readings, and enter data electronically.
• Transfer chemicals between sites and ensure proper disposal.
• Respond to incidental chemical spills and cleanup per regulations.
• Complete site PPE and chemical safety audits and training.
• Inspect storage areas and ensure proper accessibility procedures.
• Participate in training on chemical, PPE, and hazardous materials.
• Transport chemicals using hand trucks and forklifts.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace; follow EHS procedures.
• Report accidents, near misses, and safety concerns promptly.
