Job summary

TTM Technologies, Inc. is hiring a Waste Water Technician for the 2nd shift (3:00 PM–11:30 PM) at 6457 Fly Rd, East Syracuse, NY. The role focuses on monitoring wastewater systems, reporting readings, and ensuring chemical safety in a manufacturing environment.

Training is provided on safety, PPE, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (Associate degree preferred) and 1–2 years of wastewater treatment experience; forklift certification is required after

Qualifications

Ability to understand and apply chemical processing guidelines, procedures, and environmental regulations.
Must complete a 12-module hazardous material training program and certify as a forklift operator.
1–2 years of waste water treatment experience preferred; aerospace industry experience or AS9102 a plus.

Responsibilities

Operate the waste water treatment system, adjusting flow valves and working with pumps.
Monitor samples and report batch treatment readings, making adjustments as needed.
Enter data into the electronic system and maintain accurate records.
Transfer and dispose of chemicals following proper procedures and PPE requirements.
Respond immediately to incidental chemical spills and clean up per regulations.
Complete site audits to ensure PPE and chemical safety compliance.
Support new hire and ongoing training on chemical safety and hazardous materials.
