Job summary

TTM Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician for 1st shift in Syracuse, NY.

You will perform scheduled and unscheduled repairs on production and facility equipment, including electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, while maintaining records and ensuring lines stay operational. You will receive extensive safety training, PPE, and opportunities to work with 3rd party vendors as needed.

Qualifications

• Technical aptitude and ability to safely use basic hand tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment and control circuits.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to read manuals and diagrams.
• General computer skills and ability to enter data and email.
• Must be able to stand, lift 40 pounds, and work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Observe machinery to detect trouble and inspect parts for wear or misalignment.
• Repair or replace parts and test malfunctioning equipment.
• Lubricate, clean, and assemble components as needed.
• Install electrical components and wiring; test performance.
• Diagnose faults in mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems; arrange repairs.
• Complete maintenance requests and PM documentation; communicate status to supervisor.
• Participate in ongoing training and safety programs.
