One Southern Indiana is seeking a Laborer for the Charlestown Wastewater Department to operate and maintain the wastewater treatment plant and related systems. The role requires CDL credentials, knowledge of wastewater maintenance, and the ability to perform standby duties after hours, weekends, and holidays.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the willingness to advance in license certification.

Qualificações

• Knowledge of wastewater maintenance and construction principles and safe operation of equipment.
• Ability to follow EPA/OSHA/IDEM safety policies and procedures.
• Ability to read blueprints/maps and perform basic calculations.
• Possession of Indiana driver’s license and a valid CDL with air brake endorsement.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate city sewers and equipment and report problems to the Director of Wastewater.
• Maintain and repair wastewater treatment plant equipment and systems.
• Prepare and provide operation reports to agencies as required.
• Assist with inventory and routine maintenance activities.
• Perform testing, sampling, line maintenance, lift station management and standby duties.
