Job summary

HDR is seeking a Colorado-based leader to guide the Wastewater Treatment Business Class in the Colorado Water group. You will mentor staff, build cross-disciplinary teams, and drive strategic growth while delivering innovative wastewater solutions to protect public health and the environment.

You will collaborate with regional and national leaders to deliver master planning, nutrient removal, solids handling, and design-build projects, representing HDR in industry forums and client engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field.
• 10 years of experience.
• Professional or engineering registration.
• Experience in development and management of diverse teams.
• Active participation in employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex wastewater treatment projects through planning, design and construction.
• Serve as Project Manager on regional and area-wide projects.
• Advance technical capabilities in nutrient removal, solids handling, and condition assessment.
• Promote QA/QC and continuous improvement across projects and teams.
• Collaborate with regional and national experts to strengthen HDR’s technical leadership.
