Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Wastewater Plant Operator to control and monitor the wastewater treatment system at our facility. You will operate electrical equipment, collect samples, test for impurities, and maintain accurate data records while ensuring compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Entry-level wastewater licensing preferred (preferred) and beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Oversee wastewater facility operations across scheduled shifts, primarily 12-hour night shifts.
• Operate motors, pumps and valves; collect and test samples to monitor purity and concentration.
• Analyze lab data and implement changes to prevent non-compliance; maintain records.
• Coordinate with teams and management to maintain equipment and optimize treatment methods.
• Perform preventative maintenance and assist with minor repairs and installations.
• Prepare data for daily/weekly/monthly reports for Veolia and regulatory bodies.
