Job summary

Mayday Manufacturing in Denton, TX is seeking a hands-on Wastewater Technician to operate and maintain the facility’s Wastewater Treatment System (WWTS) and monitor equipment for environmental compliance.

You will perform routine maintenance, manage chemical inventories, and support boilers, chillers, pumps, and RO water systems, with a focus on safety and attention to detail on a 3:00pm–11:00pm shift.

Qualifications

• Basic math and problem-solving skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Maintenance, utility, or manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the facility’s Wastewater Treatment System (WWTS).
• Monitor equipment and ensure environmental compliance.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Maintain chemical inventories and treatment records.
• Support boilers, chillers, pumps, and RO water systems.
• Assist with basic mechanical repairs and facility maintenance.
