Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a skilled Wastewater Technician to join our growing team. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing wastewater equipment and performing routine maintenance to ensure smooth operations.

You will troubleshoot pumps, motors, piping and valves, perform preventive maintenance, and read equipment manuals to carry out repairs. This full-time, on-site role is based in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, on the 2nd shift (3 PM–11 PM), with opportunities for growth within a growing

Qualifications

• Proficiency in facilities maintenance, pumps, motors, and piping.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

• Use basic hand tools effectively.
• Repair and maintain wastewater equipment, including motors, pumps, valves, and piping.
• Perform daily and weekly preventive maintenance.
• Observe and adjust chemical usage based on wastewater testing results.
• Conduct light electrical troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot pneumatic valves, mechanical seals, chains, belts, sprockets, gears, bearings, and pumps.
• Read and utilize equipment manuals for repairs and maintenance.
• Perform duties requiring overhead work, use of ladders, and tasks in various environments.
• Engage in plumbing, carpentry, and pipefitting tasks.
• Perform other related and unrelated duties as needed.
