Job summary

Mayday Manufacturing in Denton, TX is hiring a Wastewater Treatment Technician I on 2nd shift. You will operate and maintain the WWTS, monitor equipment, ensure environmental compliance and assist with facilities maintenance.

Starting pay is $19.00/hour and the role offers hands-on learning in wastewater systems, plumbing, electricals, and facility utilities. Prior maintenance or manufacturing exposure is a plus, with room to grow within the plant.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
• Basic math and problem-solving skills.
• Maintenance, utility, or manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the facility's Wastewater Treatment System (WWTS)
• Monitor equipment and ensure environmental compliance
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Maintain chemical inventories and treatment records
• Support boilers, chillers, pumps, and RO water systems
• Assist with basic mechanical repairs and facility maintenance
