Job summary

gpac is partnering with a well-established food manufacturing company to hire a Wastewater Technician for the 1st shift. You will monitor and maintain wastewater treatment equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure proper treatment levels.

You will test chemicals, monitor pH, document readings, manage inventory, and keep logs while following safety procedures. The role offers competitive pay and a generous benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage, paid holidays,

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; manufacturing experience preferred.
Mechanical aptitude with willingness to learn and problem-solve.
Authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain wastewater treatment equipment and systems.
Perform daily oiling, greasing, and preventive maintenance on pumps and equipment.
Conduct chemical testing, drawdowns, and jar tests to maintain proper treatment levels.
Monitor pH levels, calibrate probes, and document readings.
Inspect pumps, water flow, and chemical delivery systems while making adjustments as needed.
Monitor water pit levels and overall wastewater system performance.
Maintain chemical inventory and coordinate timely reordering.
Complete required operational logs and documentation.
Follow all safety procedures.
Assist with other wastewater operations as needed.
